Stock Wash-Sale Rule: What it is and How to Avoid | Rob.CPA

In this video, I will walk through the wash sale rule, which could prevent sellers of stock from taking a tax deduction if they sold that stock at a loss. Essentially, if you sell a stock at a loss, then purchase substantially the same stock up to 30 days before or after a sale, the loss is disallowed in that tax year.
