“Spiritual Adrenaline”? That’s what AHUMC Pastor Mariellen Yoshino says comes from recognizing that the Cloud of Witnesses, the “Hall of Faith”, are actively supporting and praying for us. Hebrews chapters 11 and 12 were written to encourage an early church amidst the challenges of following Christ. As we celebrate San Jose Pride Weekend, we know that there is much that persists in the world to dehumanize, desecrate, and destroy – but faith provides the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen.
