French singer Julien Drolon revert to Islam after walk1k km to find God I Real Stories TheDeeShowTV

French singer, Julien Drolon, traversed a distance of a thousand kilometers to find his devotion in Islam. He shared his anecdote about hearing the Quran for the first time while waiting for a flight in Abu Dhabi. The song's melody spoke to his soul, and he spoke fondly about the impact that it had on him. Julien's background is rooted in Catholicism, raised in Nantes, France, and yearned to be a priest from a young age. Unsatisfied with Catholicism, his mother encouraged him to explore Buddhism, and he had the chance to travel to over 50 countries worldwide. His peregrinations never once led him to contemplate Islam as an option. His mother's generation abandoned Catholicism for many reasons, although they still upheld their faith in God or something spiritual. Buddhism gained popularity in the 1990s with the influence of the Dalai Lama. Julien discovered his passion for the peacefulness of meditation, and it was strikingly similar to the essence of solitude in Islam. Starting his story, Julien said, "There was a time when I was a singer for a couple of years. When I was in Hong Kong, I had the opportunity to perform in front of my favorite singer at a festival. I was humbled when he attended the concert. However, I felt that something was amiss in my life. I couldn't put my finger on it, but I knew that I was not following the right path. That feeling became a trigger for me." Julien decided to embark on a 30-day, 1000-kilometer journey from the border of Spain towards the west coast of Spain. The pilgrimage proved to be a profound experience because it provided him with ample opportunities to reflect on his connection with God. He encountered many Christians during the journey and asked God to reveal himself to him. He believed that walking was part of his spiritual process. Upon arriving in Santiago de Compostela, Julien shared a disappointing incident that took place with a Brazilian man. During a ceremony, a man on a bicycle approached him in a threatening manner, and Julien insulted him in Brazilian. The man retaliated by responding with unkind words. Julien thought that walking a thousand kilometers would make him a more holy person. But he realized that his journey was incomplete, and he needed guidance not to hurt others. During a six-hour layover in Abu Dhabi, Julien heard the Quranic melody in a taxi, and it stirred his emotions. Julien inquired about the song's title, and the driver informed him that it was not a song but rather the Quran. The driver encouraged Julien to save himself and his family from the fire of Hell and embrace Islam. Julien found his calling in Islam after years of spiritual contemplation and wandering. Today, Julien is a devout Muslim and performs religious songs that reflect his faith. His journey toward finding God has been long and difficult, but it has brought him peace and clarity.
