I go backtrack because I missed a tiny little slightly very important section back in the mansion and need to head back over before I continue onward in the underground before hitting the laboratory. Oops. I got a hint from a friend about that puzzle box which is related. Had no clue it could have been solved when I got it. I'll explain in game, but yeah, we're almost done with Chris' campaign. Hopefully starting Jill's right after and continuing the Resident Evil train. She gets access to the grenade launcher, so things should go much more smoothly!
