Coronavirus outbreak: Cuomo says peak of curve will likely come at end of April in New York | FULL
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo called on residents to continue to follow social distancing measures, predicting that the peak in the number of COVID-19 cases will come at the end of April. Cuomo also said that many young people in the state have not been doing enough to follow social distancing guidelines set out by the government. “Think about other people,” he added. Speaking specifically about New York City, Cuomo said police in that city need to be “more aggressive” in enforcing social distancing rather than forcing him to mandate the policy. Currently in New York state 83,712 people have tested positive for COVID-19 and 12,226 people have been hospitalized with the disease, caused by the novel coronavirus. More than 1,900 people have died from the virus. For more info, please go to https://globalnews.ca/news/6746345/co...
