For medical reasons, we didn’t want them to mix with our cats, but still wanted to keep a close eye on them and allow them to get used to and interact with a family, cats, and dogs. This has been ideal! We have easy access to the kittens from both the top and side. It’s large enough to fit a full sized litter box, toys, pet bed, blanket, food and water dish, and still have room for them to play. The kittens love climbing up the sides, but the lip and easy-to-remove top keep them inside. Even with their claws and kitten insanity, there are no rips or snags that I can find. It folds easily to go through doors and store. When we need to clean it, we take it outside, spray cleaner on it and wipe it down with a cloth, then let the sun dry it. It takes just a few minutes to wash inside and out, and it’s dry within about 20 minutes. The only downside I can find is that it takes up a lot of room, but it’s worth it. If you are potty training, you will want to put pee pads inside, as liquids will stay inside for a few minutes, but will leak through shortly. After the kittens are adopted, I plan on keeping it for future use. It’s an incredible product!
