Nikki Rummer - Out the Window

Physically thrilling and effortlessly elegant, ‘Out the Window’ is a short acrobatic film featuring circus artist Nikki Rummer. Backflipping on the narrow roof of a canal boat, Nikki asks the audience: What has your window become during lockdown? The film is an intricate look at the ways our windows have trapped us inside at the same time as connecting us to the intimate worlds of our neighbours. A Summer Street Festival 2020 commission with the support of Arts Council England.
