We Finally Finished Walking Türkiye... 384 Days Later
We finally reached the end of Türkiye! 🇹🇷 If you want to support the journey, you can now buy a handwritten postcard from the road sent from wherever we are in the world 💌 https://buymeacoffee.com/sophietang/e... In this final episode, we walk from Rize to Sarp, completing our journey across the country on foot. After 384 days of walking, this marks the end of Türkiye on our long journey from Türkiye to Vietnam. The Black Sea coast gave us some of the most beautiful and memorable moments of the entire trip. The unexpected kindness from the locals in Türkiye is something I will carry with me forever, and as a thank you, I promise to always pay forward through unconditional kindness. Crossing this border is a huge milestone, but the journey doesn’t end here. Next stop: Kazakhstan and beyond, where we will be walking 3,300km through the deserts into Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. This next part of the journey is no joke. If you’ve been following from the start, thank you.
