Black Myth: Wukong - Fiery Showdown with Green-Capped Martialist!
🔥 The Green-Capped Martialist is the final battle of the Treasure Hunter’s side questline in Chapter 3 of Black Myth: Wukong. This NPC, whom you’ve encountered throughout the chapter, reveals his true strength in an intense fight filled with fire-based attacks. Proper preparation is key to overcoming this challenging encounter. Before the fight, equip the Fireproof Mantle, obtained from the Chapter 1 secret boss. This vessel provides fire resistance, making the battle significantly easier. The boss frequently transforms into a wheel of fire, rolling toward you in an attempt to overwhelm your defenses. This attack is easily avoided by running sideways or dodging continuously, ensuring he misses every time. At 50% health, the boss upgrades his attack, transforming into two wheels at once. At this point, activate the Fireproof Mantle for complete fire immunity. If you do get set on fire, dodge-roll 4-5 times in a row to extinguish the flames. His melee combos typically consist of 3-4 consecutive attacks, followed by an opening for quick counters. Avoid heavy attacks, as he frequently deflects them, making quick attacks the most effective strategy. Skip Pluck of Many, as clones won’t be effective when he’s in wheel form. Instead, use Immobilize to stagger him and land a full attack sequence. For transformation, use Azure Dust for added mobility and attack power. Keep an eye out for his weapon throw, which often comes as the final hit of his combo.
