This edition was packed with nostalgia, surprises, and even a little bit of madness. We kicked things off with a 40th anniversary celebration for Super Mario Bros., reminding us that time flies by faster than a warp drive on level 1-2. Among the announcements were the reveal of the Super Mario Galaxy movie, a return of the legendary Galaxy 1 and 2 for Switch, and the confirmation of Mario Tennis Fever 🎾👶. Also unveiled was the special edition of Super Mario Bros. Wonder for Switch 2, including talking flowers 🌼, and a new Yoshi title with a stop-motion aesthetic that looks adorable. But it wasn't all Mario: we saw Kirby Air Riders with amiibos, Metroid Prime 4 Beyond with an open world and a motorcycle for Samus 🚀, plus the rare treat of bringing back a Virtual Boy adapted for Switch 2 in bloody red. For horror fans, Fatal Frame II Remake and Resident Evil Requiem promise sleepless nights for your Switch 2 👻. And yes, Pokémon wasn't far behind with Pokopia and the long-awaited Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Nintendo closed with a flourish by showing off Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave, reminding us that 2026 will be a year to empty our wallets. 🎮🔥 #pokemon #Nintendo #Gamer #supermario #Mariogalaxy
