What an awesome hack! This $10 powerful magnet can transform the Sony F-828, F-717 or F-707 into an infrared photography camera. I'll show you how that works along with some examples. This is one of the cheapest and most accessible ways to beginning infrared photography. I also really love the lens of the Sony F-828 and the files I get from the camera.
