Adductor Side Plank (Inner Thigh)
Adductor, or inner thigh, Side Planks are used to build strength in the stabilizing adductor muscles of the leg, as well as the obliques. 1. Start on your side. 2. Place bottom elbow below the shoulder. 3. Raise top hip upwards. 4. Squeeze bottom armpit closed, and pull the elbow towards your feet. 5. Raise bottom foot off the ground. 6. Press through top foot into the ground. Notes: Keep your hips stacked on top of each other, keep shoulders and elbows stacked, and keep the working foot, hips, and shoulders all in line. Things to feel: Working leg inside thigh, obliques, glutes, and working side lat.
