C H A P T E R 3 - 2 After riding the gondola out of the Ndipaya village, Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar find themselves at the execution ground where a member of the BSAA rescue team is hung over the swamp and eaten by a crocodile. As they approach the oil refinery, they take note of tens displaying the Tricell logo, describing Plaga-based research on the tribesmen, implicating the BSAA's original financier in illegal human experimentation. Within the oil refinery, the pair runs into Cpt. Josh Stone, who is given the bad news about his squad. Accepting they are the only three left, he is confused why they did not acknowledge the withdrawal orders, forcing the two to admit they are going against orders to find out about Jill Valentine. After the oil refinery is stormed by Town Majini, the three BSAA soldiers fight through the attackers and head to their source, a yacht on which Ricardo Irving is onboard. As he departs downriver, he activates a timer on explosives placed around the refinery. Alomar, Redfield and Cpt. Stone get to a boat and narrowly avoid being killed in the explosion. C H A P T E R 3 - 3 Chapter 3-3 is the eighth level of Resident Evil 5. It is the end of the Irving arc, concluding the first part of the game.
