It has an incredibly smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture like nothing else. The name means “cooked cream.” It can be served directly int the glasses or can be unmoulded and then serve with strawberry sauce as topping. Panna Cotta looks and tastes fancy but is quick and easy to make! The fresh berry sauce makes every creamy spoonful perfectly sweet and tangy. Servings- 4 Ingredients- Strawberry sauce Fresh strawberries- 250 gm Sugar- 3/4 cup Vanilla essence- 1/2 tsp for strawberry sauce Panna Cotta Agar agar/ Veg gelatin- 1/2 tbsp Milk- 1/2 cup Amul Fresh Cream- 2 cups Sugar- 1 cup Vanilla essence- 2 tsp Some fresh strawberries Some fresh mint leaves Method- Take 250 gm of fresh strawberries. Cut them into two halves each. Now add these strawberries in a sauce pan. Add 3/4 cup of sugar. Switch on the flame and keep it higher. Start mixing them. Let the sugar melt completely. Now lower the flame and mash the strawberries. Keep it aside and add 1/2 tsp of vanilla essence. Let it cool completely. Now in a bowl add 1/2 tbsp of agar agar/ veg gelatin. I've given its link below. Add 1/2 cup of milk. Mix it well till it gets completely dissolved. Keep it aside. Now in a vessel add 2 cups of Amul Fresh Cream. Add 1 cup of sugar. Switch on the flame and keep it higher. Let the sugar gets dissolved completely. Let it boil. Now lower the flame. Add 2 tsp of vanilla essence. Mix it well. Now add the agar agar mixture. Keep stirring continuously to avoid any lumps. Cook it for 2-3 mins. That's the perfect consistency. Note: The texture should be creamy. Switch off the flame. Now pour the mixture equally into the glasses. Keep them into a tray. Let them set in a refrigerator for 2-3 hours. You can directly serve it in the glasses. Add the strawberry sauce at the top. Place the strawberries above it. And some fresh mint leaves. Let's see the second way of serving. Keep the glass in the hot water for 4-5 mins. It will allow the Panna Cotta to get loosen from the sides. Gently use the knife to release the Panna Cotta from the glass. Place the glass upside down on a plate. Tap one time and your Panna Cotta will come off. Do the same with the other. Use the strawberry sauce as the topping. Place a strawberry and the mint leaves on it. Your delicious Italian Dessert is ready to dig in.
