Russell up into P9 with a great outside move Vettel and Ocon both pit and the race for the lead is back on between Alpine and Aston Martin With 30 to go it was looking like Hamilton might be able to do one of his miraculous comebacks. But we were waiting to see if Mercedes is going to do a 2 stop. Pierre on lap 41 with one of the most beautiful lunges I have ever seen on Latifi Verstappen coming in again with a 1.8 second pit stop. His team is just lightning fast. Lap 48 Lewis coming in for his 2nd stop to try and get some pace, and now the race is on for Lewis and another with with 22 to go. The battle we have between Alonso and Hamilton was just incredible, with Lewis on much newer and softer tires. The battle of the world champions was just electric. Tire touching angry driving at each other and with Alonso’s lock up allowed Lewis through on lap 65 Announced that Bottas will have a 5 place grid penalty going into the next race Lewis able to take P3 and Carlos was gutted he couldn’t hold him back.
