The US Border Patrol showed the Indian nationals being handcuffed on their deportation flight that was taking off from the American state of Texas to Amritsar city in northern India. The Indian nationals, upon reaching home, said that the deportation flight was "worse than hell." The deported individuals noted that apart from being handcuffed, nobody on the flight was allowed to move an inch from the seat. The deportation process, one of the deportees said, was not only "physically painful but also mentally exhausting." The accusations created a political furor in New Delhi, where the parliament is currently in session. External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar said that New Delhi was engaging with Washington DC to ensure that deportees are not mistreated in any manner aboard their deportation flights. ----- Indian immigrants | Donald Trump | US deportations | Amritsar| Sheikh Mujibur Rahman | Firstpost Spotlight | News Live | World News | Latest News | Global News | International News | News | Trending News #indianimmigrants #donaldtrump #usdeportation #amritsar #sheikhmujiburrahman #firstpostspotlight #firstpost #newslive #worldnews #latestnews #globalnews #news #internationalnews #trendingnews
