We check out a John Deere E140 Riding Mower that will not start and makes no noise at the beginning We go over a thorough diagnosis will full easy troubleshooting process then we repair the issue along with another one we find after the first. The lights do not come on and there is no noise when the key is turned to on or start This exact troubleshooting process can be applied on almost all mower brands, makes/models although the steps do vary slightly The battery is dead so we charge it but it still will not hold so we show how to replace the battery. We then test the solenoid and voltage coming to the solenoid to find the starter solenoid is good but the starter is bad. We show how to replace the starter then find and issue with the fuel system. We then show how to drain the fuel system, replace the fuel filter and flush the carburetor out of the bad fuel. It then finally runs like a top!
