Today we celebrate Saint Francis de Sales, the “Doctor of Divine Love,” Bishop of Geneva and one of the pillars of modern spirituality. Known for his invincible gentleness and profound pastoral wisdom, he taught that holiness is possible for everyone, in the midst of the world. Author of the classic “Introduction to the Devout Life” and co-founder of the Order of the Visitation, his legacy as a master of the interior life and patron of writers and journalists continues to enlighten the faithful worldwide.
