Willemijn Verkaik Interview on FROZEN II Many films explore themes of love, friendship, and togetherness, but no company is as successful with them as Disney. With a box office gross of over $1.3 billion, FROZEN is a true blockbuster animated film. After its premiere in Munich on November 19, 2019, FROZEN II finally opens in theaters on November 20, 2019. This installment is not only about friendship and tolerance, but also about coping with loss. The story also revolves around finding one's purpose and sometimes prioritizing one's own well-being over that of others. Elsa, Anna, Christopher, Sven, and Olaf venture into an enchanted forest. What they see and experience there shakes them to their core, but also brings them closer together. Spoiler alert: FROZEN 2 introduces several new supporting characters. One of them is my personal favorite. He doesn't have a speaking role, but he can really give our friends a run for their money.
