Just the Two of Us Piano Tutorial (Chords Only--for accompanying and soloing)
This does NOT show how to play the melody. Hopefully you'll sing that! The same chords work for the verses ("I hear the crystal raindrops...") and the choruses ("Just the two of us"), but you might want to create a different rhythmic feel for each. If you're singing, or if someone else is playing the melody in your band, Instead of playing chords in LH, you can play the chords I'm showing you in the RH instead and play root notes only in the LH (db, c, f, eb ab, db, c, f). If you're soloing in the RH though of course the LH will need to play the chords (solo in F minor blues scale: f-ab-bb-b-c-eb-f). The chords for the bridge (shown at the end) are DbM7 (db-f-ab-c) C (c-e-g-c) BM7 (b-d#-f#-a#) Bb (bb-d-f-bb) AM7 (a-c#-e-g#) Ab (ab-c-eb-ab) Db (invert RH as ab-db-f) Db again (invert RH as db-f-ab) Gb6 (gb-bb-eb).
