LIVE CATHOLIC 11:30AM MASS |TWENTY-EIGHTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME, YEAR B|October 13, 2024

TODAY’S REFLECTION The only treasure that lasts is love. Every bit of kindness, generosity and hospitality we extend to others is our treasure of love. When we put our faith in the power of love, extend our energy in practicing love every day, and seek to be guided in our daily lives by Jesus’ examples of love, we are building a treasure that will never run out. Sometimes we spend more time surfing the internet than helping those in need. Or we spend more time at work than with our family. Sometimes we pay more attention to our possessions than to God’s law of love. Or we spend more time shopping for new clothes than reading the Bible. We cannot hide behind our work, our possessions, or our activities. We must always find ways to touch the hearts of those who need reassurance of God’s presence in the world.
