At a wedding in Cana, Jesus and His mother, Mary, were among the guests. When the wine ran out, Mary told Jesus, but He replied, “My time has not yet come.” Still, she told the servants, “Do whatever He tells you.” Jesus instructed them to fill six stone jars with water. Then He told them to draw some out and take it to the master of the feast. When the master tasted it, the water had turned into the finest wine. Amazed, he told the bridegroom, “Everyone serves the best wine first, but you have saved the best for last!” This was Jesus’ first miracle, revealing His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.
