So as I said yesterday, I did a Vocaloid cover of Despacito. I used Hatsune Miku for this one, but of course if you want it with any other vocaloid you can just ask me cos I have the MIDI and the VSQX file. I'm still going to be doing a song a day, but I was trying to rush this out before midnight, which I failed to do. Hopefully it's worth it and someone enjoys this video anyway. About the video: This is a Japanese cover of the hit song, Despacito, originally by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee and made even popular internationally with Justin Bieber's "remix". I actually have to do something related to this song for choir and it got me into this song despite listening to little or no pop. A friend asked me two days ago whether I could cover Despacito. Well, I looked at the song and the lyrics and went: 1. I can't read Spanish fluently 2. I can't sing Spanish fluently 3. There are a LOT of Spanish words So I decided I would do a Japanese translation. However, though there were some translations online, there weren't any versions that would fit the song. So I made them on my own, with one horrible mistake being spotted by a friend before it went online. However, since I've tried to meet this a song a day thing, I don't have much time to QC the lyrics. I might upload one with updated lyrics but for now this is with my basic Japanese knowledge. Wrt the track, I found a MuseScore version online but it wasn't exactly as the original track and the harmonies and adlibs (esp spoken of course) weren't in there so I added them all in. I did a little thing where "DY" was replaced by "Wyz" and "DDDDDDaddy" was replaced by "Mmmmiku" while "FONSI!" was replaced with Miku. Dunno if you'll hear those things but these are the little things showing it's my production XD. You can hear a rough cut with the piano in the previous video. The sources that I used are all below.
