these lemon crinkle cookies are of my favs to make when i have fresh lemons~ they’re chewy, zingy, and perfectly sweet to satisfy those sugar cravings! 🍋✨💛 my first baking video that i’ve filmed and edited myself! trying to get the hang of it, but i’m still camera shy 🤗 ingredients: (i doubled mine in the video) 1 cup granulated sugar 1 tablespoons lemon zest 1/2 cup (1 stick) softened unsalted butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 1/4 teaspoon of lemon extract (optional) 1 egg 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1 1/2 cups flour for rolling the cookies (set this aside): 1/2 cup granulated 1/2 cup powdered sugar recipe: 1. mix together lemon zest and sugar 2. beat butter and lemon sugar until fluffy then add vanilla, lemon juice (and extract if using), and egg until completely combined 3. scrape down the bowl and add all remaining dry ingredients, mix until combined with no remaining flour streaks 4. use a cookie scoop to scoop the cookies out and refrigerate them for one hour 5. preheat oven to 350 F 6. bring the cookies out and roll them in the granulated sugar first, and then the powdered sugar 7. place cookies 2 inches apart and bake for 10-12 minutes or until you notice the edges are lightly browned 8. let cool on a rack before enjoying! #djiosmopocket3 #lemon #lemoncrinklecookies #crinklecookies #cookies #baking #bake #homebaking #recipe #cookierecipe
