Paul Washer: "What is Salvation?" #Repentance #Gospel #Salvation #EnglishSermon #EnglishStudy #Wo...
For he said, “In a time of favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the favor of God; behold, now is the day of salvation! (2 Corinthians 6:2) For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness. (Romans 1:18) Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come. (1 Thessalonians 1:10) Among them we also all once lived in the lusts of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest. (Ephesians 2:3) who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not because of our works, but because of his own purpose and grace which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began. (2 Timothy 1:9) He saved us, not because of works which we have done in righteousness, but because of his mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit. (Titus 1:10) 3:5) Therefore, it does not depend on man's will or effort, but on God's mercy. (Romans 9:16) For he says, “In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:2 ESV) Romans 1:18 (ESV): For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all unrighteousness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. 1 Thessalonians 1:10 (ESV): “Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.” Ephesians 2:3 (ESV): “Among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.” 2 Timothy 1:9 (ESV): “who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began,” Titus 3:5 (ESV): “he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,” Romans 9:16 (ESV): “So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy.” _________________ Preached by Paul Washer Partner with @EverlastingGrace-EG1987 Translated by Malseum PT Go directly to Word PT “Gym”! https://www.biblept.com/ Free Word PT recitation archive!
