1. CALORIC DEFICIT: You HAVE to be in a caloric deficit in order to lose fat. Our body naturally uses calories to do energy like walking, moving our hands and working out (Basic metabolic rate). Having less calories will enable fat to be burned IF DONE PROPERLY. So, have a 200-500 caloric deficit in order to ensure fat loss. 2. TRACK YOUR CALORIES: You CAN'T be in a caloric deficit if you don't track your calories. How are you suppose to know that your eating in a caloric deficit if your not tracking? So with that said, go to my fitness pal and track your calories there. 3. WEIGHTLIFT: To ensure that muscle tissue is not being broken down, you have to weightlift. When you put your body in a anabolic state, (building muscle), it will preserve the muscle and will have the fat be broken down instead. 4. EAT PROTEIN: Like with weightlifting, we need to preserve muscle. That's why you need to eat lots of protein in your caloric deficit (more than you usually eat).
