Set three years after the events of Ghostbusters: Afterlife, the Spengler family—Callie, Phoebe, Trevor, and Gary—relocate to New York City to help Winston Zeddemore and Ray Stantz re-establish the Ghostbusters team. They are joined by Lucky Domingo and Podcast in their efforts to combat a new supernatural threat. The story begins with the discovery of an ancient artifact—a brass orb—that unleashes Garraka, a phantom god capable of freezing people with fear. As Garraka begins plunging New York City into an icy apocalypse, the Ghostbusters must unite old and new generations to stop him. Alongside Nadeem Razmaadi, who discovers his lineage ties to the Firemasters who originally imprisoned Garraka, they face challenges involving cursed objects, spectral attacks, and betrayal. Phoebe plays a pivotal role in defeating Garraka by modifying Egon Spengler’s proton pack with brass to weaken the phantom god. With help from Melody—a ghost who initially worked for Garraka but later aids the team—they manage to trap Garraka in a giant ghost trap created from their damaged ecto-containment unit. The movie ends with New York thawing out and the Ghostbusters hailed as heroes once again. In a mid-credit scene, mischievous Mini-Pufts steal a Stay Puft Marshmallow truck, leaving fans with a humorous tease for future adventures.
