Chest Pain One of the important symptoms of hypertension is chest pain which should never be ignored as it may lead to a heart attack or myocardial infarction. 6. Nasal Bleed Nasal bleed is a rare but critical symptom of hypertension for which the patient needs urgent consultation. 7. Shortness of breath High blood pressure damages the heart and lungs which leads to shortness of breath 8. Blood in Urine The next important but rare symptom of hypertension is blood in urine also called pink urine. Secondary Causes of High blood pressure/ Hypertension are: 1. Kidney Diseases 2.
