Even the dominion over the three worlds would bring no joy, let alone an earthly kingdom, O Janardana." ------ In these verses, Arjuna shares his internal struggle with Krishna. He expresses that victory, kingdom, or any pleasure seems meaningless when the people he loves and respects, including his own family and mentors, are ready to fight. Arjuna cannot bear the thought of killing his relatives, even in self-defence or for the glory of ruling over the entire universe, much less for an earthly kingdom. This highlights the profound emotional and moral conflict that Arjuna is experiencing, paving the way for Krishna's guidance. ------------- Dive deep into the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita with accurate translations of each shloka.
