Sammy Hagar invites David Lee Roth on tour honoring Van Halen: "Come out and join us."

Sammy Hagar revealed plans for the "Best of All Worlds" summer 2024 tour, which would include drummer Jason Bonham, old Chickenfoot teammates Michael Anthony and Joe Satriani. The self-described Red Rocker has also invited former Van Halen singer and long-standing nemesis David Lee Roth to partake in the celebrations. Time: Nobody else is going to do it, Hagar claimed "The Howard Stern Show." Dave cannot sing my work if he goes out. But we can do a handful of the early Van Halen tunes. I did it when I was in Van Halen; I have no trouble with it. We are the only ones who can truly honor all that is involved here. Hagar also mentioned wanting Alex Van Halen, the drummer for Van Halen, to take part. Actually, the 76-year-old Marin County musician said he was extending an open invitation to anyone wishing to perform on stage. We are going to welcome every musician in every town, he declared.
