Singapore evaluating timing, scope of reopening amid fresh COVID-19 outbreak: Lawrence Wong

Singapore is reviewing the timing and scope of the second stage of the country's reopening. Finance Minister Lawrence Wong said new COVID-19 cases are breaking out, including a major cluster in Bukit Merah. 25 cases have been linked to the Bukit Merah View Market and Food Centre cluster as of June 15. Singapore is now in the first stage of its reopening after its heightened alert period. Restrictions, such as on dining-in at eateries, were slated to ease further from June 21.
