Michel Barnier on UK-EU trade talks

The EU's chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier has revealed the UK will not back down from demands on fisheries. He said that David Frost has asked for a "near total exclusion of EU fishing vessels" which is "unacceptable" to the EU. In his press conference today, Mr Barnier said that the United Kingdom had shown no willingness to break deadlock on the level playing field and fisheries issues, making reaching a new trade agreement "unlikely".
