Like this, this is a place we can easily meet the stories of weather that cannot be forgotten in our lives. it is the National Weather Science Center of Jeonbuk located in Jeongeup. The National Weather Science Center of Jeonbuk is a science exhibition that was built where people can easily approach the weather field and astronomical field which were only approached through books or television. In this place, people can learn about the principles of weather such as typhoons, rain, and heat wave. In the astronomical projection chamber provided in one side of the facility, the affect of the sun on the earth as well as the creation of the broad space can be seen in one view. We cannot forget the weather forecast when talking about weather. There is an experience for weather forecast which delivers the collected data from the weather observatory to the main room. The weather forecast information is created in details and we can experience how the weather is announced. Weather is mostly thought to be close to most people. For the imaging that is delivered from the weather satellites, weather information can be acquired accurately. This is called the 3D visualization system. The characteristic of weather by each season can be identified. Along with the movement of typhoons that appear during the summer season, we can see the contents of how they are formed and the estimated route. This is the index that shows the weather and the movement of the space. Because these principles on weather can be easily accessed for the people, we usually observe the sun during the day. This is a magnifying class to observe the solar prominence from the sun. Along with educational experience, this place is a place to execute the role as the weather observatory.
