찜질방 What to Expect at the Korean Sauna: the Jjimjilbang

Jjimjilbangs, saunas or bathhouses were a mystery to me until one of my Korean friends brought me to a local sauna 찜질방 without much warning Before I knew it, I was standing exposed, wondering what on earth I was doing sitting around doing not very much and trying not to glare at all the nudity around me Yep, I'm from a prudish family and had never been exposed, pardon the pun, to so much nakedness Anyway, here is a brief outline of what to expect when you visit the Jjimjilbang when you are in Korea I highly recommend it, if only for the reputed health benefits and simply pushing your comfort zone If you loved this video, give it a THUMBS UP!
