Third Saturday of Lent (March 22, 2025 / March 9, 2025)

Hebrews 10:32–38 Mark 2:14–17 The 40 Martyrs of Sebaste. We Christians are a people of the Cross. We must struggle to embrace the cross in our lives at all times. Still, though, the cross comes into our lives in different ways, and we are not all capable of the same amount of effort. Sometimes the cross involves accepting your limitations with humility, and realizing the extent to which we are responsible for our own weakness — struggling all the while to improve through God’s grace and power, and not through our own merit.
