TODAY'S GOSPEL Tuesday, October 1 | Luke 9:57–62 | Daily Liturgies
At that time, as Jesus and his disciples were traveling, someone said to him, "I will follow you wherever you go." Jesus replied, "Foxes have holes and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head." Jesus said to another, "Follow me." But he replied, "Lord, let me go first and bury my father." Jesus replied, "Let the dead bury their dead. You go and proclaim the Kingdom of God." Another said to him, "I will follow you, Lord; but let me first say goodbye to my family." Jesus replied, "Whoever grasps the plow and looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God." #today'sgospel
