TODAY'S GOSPEL: Luke 15:1-10 Today is the feast of St. Charles Borromeo, a leading figure during the Counter-Reformation with St. Ignatius of Loyola. During his time, the Church was full of corruption and so he pushed for reformation and the restoration of the integrity of the Church. He also pushed for the education of the clergy and when a lot of the officers abandoned his city, he fed as much as 75,000 people a day, selling his property and riches to do it. Now more than ever, we need men and women like Charles Borromeo—who will reform our society and restore the integrity of our institutions who are supposed to serve the people, especially the poor. Today, let us pray that he may raise servant-leaders like him, after the Lord’s heart. Reflect more on this as we celebrate the Kapamilya Daily Mass today, November 4, 2021, with Father Tito Caluag.
