Wes Nofire and Joey Abell put on a fight that lasted only three rounds, with plenty of action on PBC on FS1 Tuesday, May 17. Nofire (19-1, 15 KOs) started the night undefeated, never having been knocked down. Abell (32-9, 30 KOs) however, was returning from a loss in November. From the onset of the match, Nofire couldn't avoid the left coming from Abell. Exchanges were thrown by both fighters, but Abell would find angles and capitalize consistently. As the second round came to an end, the southpaw Abell delivered a combination that sent Nofire to the canvas for the first time in his career. As round 3 started, it was clear that Nofire was still hurt from the end of round 2. Within 45 seconds of the third round, Nofire was floored again.
