Week 4: Advent LOVE The fourth candle of Advent is LOVE. All of nature, including us, is endowed with the energy of love, which is grace. In being open to love we can come to know love as the precious gift it is. If I am open and receptive to love, I can let go of fixed ideas and narrow definitions of God. I can invite into my heart a new way of seeing the world and its peoples. When we open our hearts to a new way of seeing we come to realize that LOVE is at the heart of all things. Jesus- the long-awaited Emmanuel, is God-with-us, come in human form. Jesus calls us to live, love and learn the real meaning of unwrapping the gift of graces offered us—LOVE come down is the true gift of Christmas. A Blessed and Merry Christmas to you!
