Morning Prayer 31 August 2021 (Tuesday)

Morning Prayer with four hymns: "As the deer pants" (opening, from Psalm 42:1), "How good and pleasant it is" (Psalm 133) leading into "Peace, perfect peace", and "All glory be to God on high" (Gloria in Excelsis). You will need a bible for the bible readings in this service. The order of service follows the Church of England's "Common Worship Daily Prayer" format, except that canticles are omitted or replaced by hymns. We follow the ordinary course of the Weekday Lectionary, and not the special readings for saints' days.
