Gilbert O'Sullivan "Alone Again (Naturally)" - brand new video! Filmed at Lafayette at King's Cross (London). This brand new video accompanies the new pared back version of "Alone Again (Naturally)" featuring Bill Shanley, internationally renowned guitarist. This is the first re-recording of the track since it was first released in 1971! Gilbert O'Sullivan, is one of the most revered singer-songwriters of his generation has recorded twelve pared down versions of 12 songs from his outstanding catalogue. The new album is entitled "Songbook". The new album includes the first ever re-recording of his 1971 classic single ‘Alone Again (Naturally)’. This new music video was filmed at Lafayette in King's Cross, where the new album was recorded. There is also a brand new track on the album, specifically written for 'Songbook', entitled, and a new ‘A Kiss Is A Kiss’. The idea for Songbook arose after O’Sullivan’s 2022 Barbican show (where The Charlatans’ Tim Burgess duetted with him on ‘Nothing Rhymed’). BMG came up with the idea and suggested O’Sullivan record it in such a way to capture the instrumentation and interplay between him and guitarist Bill Shanley.
