Derek Brunson vs. Darren Till main event announced for August
Another important middleweight matchup is set to take place in August. Derek Brunson and Darren Till will clash on August 14 at an undisclosed location. ESPN reported the news and included information stating that the fight is subject to Till being medically cleared before the fight. Till's collarbone will undergo inspection before the fight after it was broken in the lead-up to the fight with Marvin Vettori last month. Brunson is on a four-fight win streak and has earned his position as the #5 middleweight. He steps into this one after a unanimous decision victory against Kevin Holland in March. Till is ranked #6 but has won just one of his last four fights and one of two fights at middleweight. Till won a split decision against Kelvin Gastelum in November 2019 and then was defeated by Robert Whittaker in July last year. So what do we think of this main event?
