Tea Party Rally Against Gun Control Draws Crowd

DAYTON -- It was a 'day of resistance' as many groups around the country rallied for the 2nd Amendment. The Dayton TEA Party made their voices heard as they rallied at the Courthouse Square. Organizers say the goal is to rally opposition against the proposed laws and raise awareness of what gun-rights supporters say are attacks on their right under the U.S. Constitution to keep and bear arms.I think the President and Congress need to come off this idea of solving crime by taking away guns from law abiding citizens and I think the American people need to recognize that the 2nd amendment wasn't just put there for our personal enjoyment to hunt or our personal defense. It was put there for our personal defense as a country. For institutions both foreign and domestic, said Former State Representative Seth Morgan.Morgan spoke to the crowd of about 100.
