It was developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, being released digitally for the PlayStation 3 on February 14, 2014 and then for the PlayStation 4 on July 29 as part of The Last of Us Remastered re-release. It was later released as a standalone expansion pack for both consoles on May 12, 2015. The expansion was also included in The Last of Us Part I, a remake of the original game, which was released in September 2022 for PlayStation 5 and will be released in March 2023 for Windows.
