Mario Kart Wii online with a Mouse (and no Keyboard)

Mario Kart Wii has 4 controller options… Well, 4 GOOD ones, that is. We’ve played with a Keyboard, we’ve played with the Wii Wheel, and today, we faced what may have been the biggest challenge yet: Playing Mario Kart Wii online with a Mouse! Will we lose all of our VR? Will we become the biggest laughing stock in Wiimmfi history? Will this 20-something year old mouse prove to be as bad as one would expect? — You may be wondering how this even works. By using Dolphin Emulator, you can essentially use any controller you want, so long as your computer can detect it. This being said, moving the mouse wasn’t being detected as an input in Dolphin, but after doing a little bit of research, I found a program called reWASD that could work around the issue. For anyone who’s curious or crazy enough to give this challenge a try, my controls were configured as follows: A - Left Click B - Right Click L - Scroller Click Stick Left - Move Mouse Left Stick Right - Move Mouse Right D-Pad Up - Scroll Up D-Pad Down - Scroll Down Start - Scroll Down (Configured as a GameCube Controller) I’m sure you could theoretically get this working on a console, but not without needing a mountain of adapters and lots of input lag. — Check out my other MarioKart videos!    • MarioKart Stuff   — Join this channel’s Discord server!   / discord   — ♫ World 1 - Super Mario 3D World ♫ Pedal Meadows - Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door ♫ Toad’s Turnpike - Mario Kart 64 ♫ Main Theme - Mii Channel ♫ Gym Leader Battle (Last Pokemon) - Pokemon Black and White 2 — ♫ (Outro Music) Battle Mode - Mario Kart DS — Thank you all for your support.
