However, we must exercise caution, diligence, discernment, perseverance, and testimony. Jesus is asking each of us to exercise caution and beware of others today. Because many of the people who support us during good times may later turn against us during painful times, Jesus wants us to learn how to tell who is on our side and who is against us. My dear friends, Seek God and heed the guidance that leads to a life of dedication to both Him and others. Be wise and cautious in your actions. This is what I've learned, so don't brag too much about your accomplishments. While some will be pleased for you, others will feel jealous. It is our duty as Christians to bear witness. to give our lives as witnesses. Take a look at the early martyrs, like St. Stephen, who freely risked their lives and always accepted the penalties.
