Shigaraki had lost EVERYTHING in one night. Bakugo threatened to take him down almost instantly when he saw him walk through the door of the bunker, but…Shigaraki ignored him and sat in the corner. It was the only safe haven left. Bakugo was told by Ochaco to give him a chance, as it seems he won’t pose a threat right now. Bakugo then gives a speech, screaming at everyone for sitting down and being useless. “WHAT’RE WE ALL DOIN’, HUH?! BUNCH OF PETTY LITTLE TIGHTWADS!”… Bakugo then came up with a plan. He was going to save Deku, no matter if he died or not. Shigaraki stands up and agrees to help. He has nothing to lose, anyway. Shigaraki admits as to why he’s such a bad person - because he never had a hero save him. Now, he was being given a chance to be the hero for someone else. More lore on the next episode!
