Hi everyone, this is JD, your gadget review friend. We talk a lot about new phones, future phones and today we will step back and review the older Samsung S6, 6 years ago. As we continue to review past, present and future devices were going back to 2015 to check one best phones that was ever made back then. Samsung S6 was a leap in Samsung's mobility as this phone showcased the very first dual curved display and an improved camera performance. To let you know how polular this phone is, there were 17 different models and it sold over 10 million units. And this opens up a whole new ball game for Samsung S7 and the new S21 today. We will provide our unbiased experience with this phone... but, today I will give 7 awesome reasons why you should own Samsung S6 in 2021. And like our old fashion way, we will do this as simple as possible, concise and friendly. Hey, dont forget to subscribe my friend, lets go. I. Curve design and premium build Our first reason is the curve display and premium build. We should set the expectation that you would probably buy this around $50-70 dollars used. In top shape with battery replaced less than $100. II. AMOLED display Next reason is the screen. Do you know if you buy this for less than $100 dollars that it probably be the same price as the screen for phone parts? Its a 5.1 in AMOLED curve screen with 577 pixel per inch. That's actually super crisp even comparing it with the newer phones today. III. Great camera Next reason is great camera. It has a 16 megapixel wide camera with OIS or optical image stabilization. Imagine, right? It is also good in lowlight because it shoots at f1.9. It doesnt have night mode yet becaude it wasnt available the time when it was manufactured but in great light condition, let say outdoors, this phone will perform similarly to newer phones today. IV. 4k recording Our fourth reason is 4k video recording. This is impressive for a 6 year old phone. Aside from a decent image quality you get from it, this also records 4k at 30fps. V. 3.5mm audio jack Our fifth reason is the audio jack. If there's one thing I love about this phone is headphone jack. If a tech reviewer, even the biggest ones tell you wired earphones are dead, that's wrong. I mean who determines if something should be phased out. VI. Fast charging Our next reason is fast charging. Samsung S6 or S6 edge will give you the basic 15 watts fast charging. Its not the fastest around but at least you can save some time charging the phone and it is always on the go knowing a good few minutes of charging will go a long way. VII. Price And lastly, the price. Ho much is a Samsung S6 Edge today? Last time I bought it, its around $50 US dollars on a used market and I was able to enjoy it for that time being.
