M4 MacBook Air With Two Apple Thunderbolt Displays
Hello hello mom and dad meet world-kinda viewers. Can you really hook up two external displays to your M4 MacBook Air? Yes, you can, and you can leave the lid open and use the MacBook’s keyboard and trackpad too. I think this is how it should have been. That’s ok, we have that capability now. The nice thing about this setup that I didn’t even touch upon is you can plug in power via Magsafe or USB C power, but you don’t need to keep the MacBook consistently hooked up to power in case you do not want the computer charging the whole time. Utilizing two Apple Thunderbolt Displays, depending on how cheap you can find them, will save you money and will leave an extra USB C/Thunderbolt 4 port open to other accessories like an external SSD. With one monitor plugging into the second monitor as a daisy-chain, that really is convenient. Plus, the displays do have legacy USB 2.0 ports, gigabit ethernet, built webcam (although not the greatest quality), and speakers. This is really the best of both worlds in terms of price and quality. The Thunderbolt Displays are solid, heavy, and made from quality aluminum and glass design.
