I start by becoming a fan of the film, then research franchise news, fan theories and updates about the dream film. Then find new clips of the actors and any elements that makes the the franchise known for. Ultimately to create a ‘what if’ trailer using effects, music, AI, and editing software like Wondershare Filmora, Photopea, and more. ►What makes Macam Studios unique from other concept trailer channels? Unlike other channels, Macam Studios state at the beginning of each trailers that its 'fan made'. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Editing Journey: Editing this Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 4 fan-made trailer was an absolute blast. I started by piecing together the perfect mix of action, humor, and heart—just like the real Guardians movies. The first step was selecting the right clips, making sure every scene had that cosmic, high-energy feel. I played around with pacing, making the slow emotional moments hit hard while keeping the action sequences fast and chaotic. Syncing everything to an upbeat 80s track (because, obviously, that’s a Guardians must-have) was a challenge, but once I nailed the timing, it all started to come together. Of course, the visuals were only half the battle. I spent a lot of time tweaking the audio, making sure Star-Lord’s narration flowed smoothly between scenes. I layered in sound effects—explosions, laser blasts, and even a few comedic beats—to amp up the immersion. Color grading was the final touch, giving the whole trailer that signature cosmic glow. After a few test runs (and way too many energy drinks), I finally had a trailer that felt like a true Guardians adventure—packed with epic battles, hilarious moments, and that unbeatable found-family vibe.
